The stunning acreage where Halton Place Horse and Country sits today has not always been the beautiful riding estate it is today. In fact, the property itself has a much more humble beginning.
Prior to its cultivation in the late 80s, Halton Place was home to a successful hog farming operation and the property was recognized as the Davis Farm. This hog operation needed an infrastructure capacity to the amount of 30,000 square feet. The mess was unimaginable, yet in 1989, Halton Place was purchased by a young man with a dream and a vision. Timur Leckebusch took over the property and 17 years later, Halton Place was ready to open its doors and grace the public with the first Halton Place horse show called the Oktoberfest Country Classic.
Timur and the amazing HP team at the time ran horse shows on the property for four years, and in 2010, the shows came to an end. Facing family emergencies in Europe, Timur had no choice but to halt the showing operation.
Now eleven years later, we are inching closer and closer to bringing back these stunning shows, and it is without question that Halton Place will be back better than ever with much larger things on the horizon. We are excited about what the future will bring. See you soon at Halton Place Horse & Country.
